What is the Commercial Group?

Hanley Wood's Commercial Group comprises several magazines that serve specialized fields within the commercial construction and public sectors. These include Concrete Construction, Masonry Construction, The Concrete Producer, Concrete Construction Products, and Public Works magazines.

How is the Commercial Group buyers' guide set up?

The editors maintain a single, common database of all the manufacturers, distributors, associations, and others serving these markets. This includes contact information as well as what products and services they provide.

How is the information made available?

A print version of market-specific information is published each spring. For Concrete Construction and The Concrete Producer these are presented as the Industry Sourcebook issue. The Public Works Manual presents comparable information for that market sector.

The in-print versions of each Industry Sourcebook and the Manual include a set of applicable products and services specifically selected to meet the needs of each magazine's readers. For example, the Manual is the only one of the buyers' guides to include asphalt-related products, while The Concrete Producer Industry Sourcebook includes block-producing equipment that is not in the other buyers' guides.

Additionally, the entire database is available online, through each magazine's Web site. It is updated on a continuing basis and can be searched by company name or product.

Is my company listed, and how do I check my company listing information?

Visit The Concrete Producer Industry Sourcebook. Enter one distinctive word from your company name (for example, enter "Mack" rather than Mack Trucks) and search.

When the information is displayed, click on the hyperlinked company name to display company contact information and products on file in the Commercial Group database.

If your company does not appear, download a blank form. Fill in the information and return the completed form via fax to 773-824-2401. Make sure to include the products and services you would like to be listed for your company. Refer to one of the three lists for available product listings.

How do I change the information or products in my company listing?

Print out your listing as it appears on the online buyers' guide listing. Mark the changes and fax to 773-824-2401. You can also send your request to sourcebook@hanleywood.com.

How do I submit information for a new listing?
